We will be reviewing three products from Vanguard:
1. Spirit ED Binoculars
2. Equalizer QS pivoting bipod with picatinny rail attachment
3. PRO series shooting stick.
Let's start with the Spirit ED Binoculars. Here is the write up from the Vanguard website; http://www.vanguardworld.com
![[image] [image]](http://www.vanguardworld.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/vanguard/pm-Spirit-ED-1042-1.jpg)
Spirit ED 1042 Spirit ED’s light transmission of up to 90 percent results in a near-perfect viewing experience. Its advanced lens and prism design with ED glass means you’ll get up-close and personal with nature, unveiling details in a way you never thought possible. Spirit ED boasts user-friendly features, too, with a lightweight, comfortable-to-hold body design, twist-out eyecups for long eye relief, large focus adjustment wheel and 100 percent waterproofness, so the weather will never slow you down. Outstanding performance even in low-light conditions ED glass technology for superior color reproduction Advanced lens coatings for enhanced light transmission Waterproof and fogproof Lightweight body design
My take: These are the best binoculars I have ever had the pleasure of looking through. I've always had binoculars with me when I hunt but for the most part the quality was not good enough to give me a whole lot of benefit, so they barely got use. I can honestly say that I will not ever hit the field with out my Spirit ED’s! So lets get down to why,
1. I love the compact design and the fact that they are built tough! These things feel great in your hand and do not make your neck hurt from being to heavy. They are light and stay out of the way until you need them. With all the stuff we carry to field and all the calls we have hanging from our neck this is very important.
2. Crystal Clear. I kid you not it is like looking though glass that turns everything HD. I was blown away the first time I looked through them. It brought objects that were 300-400 yards away right to me with zero fog and no blur.
3. Quality. Quality. Quality! I've paid 200.00 - 300.00 for my previous binoculars from a common name maker of optics and every time I was let down but figured that the quality I was getting was the quality level for the price range. You know the saying "you get what you paid for". Not the case with the Spirit ED’s! Optics Plant has them for 350.00 right now. IMO they are worth so much more. If you get these you will never need another pair again.
Next the Equalizer QS Pivoting Bipod with Picatinny Rail Attachment
From the website:
![[image] [image]](http://www.vanguardworld.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/vanguard/pm-Equalizer-2QS-2.jpg)
Equalizer 2QS Our popular Equalizer pivoting bi pod just got better! Equalizer QS has a picatinny rail system that allows shooters to attach and detach firearms faster than ever. Hunters appreciate its quick leg deployment. Its Pull and Position leg adjustment system enables you to quickly and safely reposition. A buffer spring reduces shock and vibration while providing a solid shooting base. It has a pivot tilt of 0 to 5 degrees and a -30 to +30-degree swing angle. Equalizer QS takes on an array of terrains with feet that convert from metal spikes to rubber. Equalizer 2QS is designed for prone and sitting position shooting. Has a picatinny rail quick shoe system for extremely fast attachment Buffer spring provides solid shooting Bonus 2nd picatinny rail quick shoe for quick attachment to other firearms.
My Take: Where have you been all my life! This bi-pod has single-handedly made my hunts 10x easier! No more lugging sticks with me. These fold up nice and store inside it's self making the stick very small, small enough to store on my gun in its case or sock. Quick deployment is a breeze and the pivoting head makes adjusting for the shot very simple with little movement. I can adjust heights easily for terrain . You have to see this pivoting head it is awesome!
And Last but not least PRO series shooting stick.

Good review GW!
I used the Vanguard Sticks for Turkey Season, and i liked them a lot. Easy to adjust the hieght, and light weight. Looking forward to using them for Deer and Predator hunting. The only thing i would change on them is the rounded knobs on the bottom of the sticks, i would rather see a pointed bottom to prevent any sliding.

Not sure, i did try to un-screw them, but it just left threading, it would be nice if you could replace the knobs with points, but i probably won't mess with it.
