i use foxpro fx5 and love it! kinda pissed though, the new one has the fade & also plays two sonds at once. normally you can send it back to foxpro for an upgrade, but not from fx3-fx5 to the all new and improved fury!!!

I don't know who made it or posted it but it went over set-up and showed a great section on night time set-up. Think is was posted about a year ago. I looked over the past two years and can not find it. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

i have a fx3 . the only problem i have had with it is some what my fault . we went hunting last winter . it was - 6 degrees out and i put it in the back of the truck . we had to drive about 45 min. when i set it up at the first stand it didn't want to respond to the remote. and it sounded sluggish. i put it on the dash with the defrost on . and it worked fine at the next set .

 stopping in to say high
« Result #8 on Nov 26, 2009, 7:29pm »

High guys, it's been awhile!!!!

It's been another busy summer with work, but I did buy a house this spring. I just haven't got a puter yet (budgets a little tight). At my moms for Thanksgiving dinner and thought I would see whats going on (Nice double skinner). Did git 1 kill this summer.

I try (time permiting) to do a little predator control for a few farmers in the summer, and well I was driving down a two track farm road checking out some fields a coyote did the unthinkable. He ran in front of the truck LOL!!! He made it about 80 yards into the field before I stopped his progress DRT

I didn't call him in but, its one less coyote in that area!!!! I hit him in the base of the neck with a 50 gr VMAX .223 broad side, and I tell u what! the hole coming out the other side was the size of my fist. He was a smaller coyote (size of a large fox), but lots of damage.

On another note did get a small 8 pt buck Tue evening, not very big but meat in the freezer!

Well nice to visit the sight again, and am hoping to get laid off soon so I have more time to hunt yotes and visit here.

Hope everyone had a great and filling Thanksgiving!!!!!

Great!!!!!

Last season I said the heck with it, I'm gonna see/hear/try for myself all the "top" E caller units that were readily available. Got a gametraks, a western rivers night stalker, a foxpro scorpion and foxpro fury.
Got to compare them, side by side, in the same conditions/etc . Found it hard to beat either of the foxpro's, I kept the fury and never looked back. Would've been the scorpion otherwise.....probably with the extra speaker and a bag setup.
